About post war north america in which 24 children between the ages of 12-18 are forced to fight to the death for entertainment of the elite. one girl decides to turn the games upside down.

A girl wakes up one day with petal-like wings in her back and learns more than she expected.
"Interwined"
A boy with 4 souls trapped in his head and he tries to free them.
"The Awakening"
Chole dscovers that she can wake and control the dead but no one beleives her. She is sent to a troubled yoth home that is hiding more than one secret.
"Saving Juliet"
A girl gets sent back into the story of Romeo and Juliet and decides to change the ending even at the cost of never being able to get out of the story herself.
"Elsewhere"
Liz is killed by a peeding car and wakes up on a ship going to a place called elsewhere. there she learned that people age backwards until they can be sent back to earth. however, she does not want to age backwards. she wants to turn 16 and have a boyfriend and drive a car. she has to face the fact that she will never turn 16.
